SafeNet Sentinel Hardware Keys Support Vista

By Janet Harris

February 14, 2007

SafeNet, Inc., a global leader in information security, has announced that its Sentinel Hardware Keys now support Microsoft’s Windows Vista operating system.

All currently deployed Sentinel Keys will be able to operate on computers running Vista using only an updated driver. Drivers can be downloaded from SafeNet’s secure customer connection center.

When attached to a computer or network, Sentinel Hardware Keys monitor and enforce the licensing of products which have been protected using SafeNet’s Unified Software Protection.

They provide high-level security via public key cryptography, AES encryption and internal authentication.
