Trend Micro enhances Gateway Messaging Security

Trend Micro Incorporated has announced the latest versions of its messaging security products, InterScan Messaging Security Suite and InterScan Messaging Security Appliance.

The company has also announced a new hosted service for enterprise customers, InterScan Messaging Hosted Security.

The company’s InterScan Messaging Security solutions provide enterprises with comprehensive gateway email security, integrating anti-spam and anti-phishing solutions with antivirus and anti-spyware.

Innovative techniques include two patent-pending technologies, customer-specific reputation services and image spam detection which protects systems as threats evolve. Predictive techniques such as zero-day protection, advanced heuristics, and behaviour analysis block targeted attacks. Flexible email content filtering helps enforce compliance and prevents data leakage.

The solution, which can be managed centrally for easy administration, blocks standalone, blended-threat, and targeted attacks at the gateway.
