New Norton 360 - All-In-One Security

Symantec Corporation’s Norton 360 - All-In-One Security product is now available.

The Norton 360 solution includes Symantec’s security and PC tune-up technologies, plus automated backup.

The solution provides antivirus, antispyware, antiphishing, online identity protection, web site authentication, two way firewall and 2GB secured online storage at a suggested retail price of US$79.99 for up to three PCs.  

It also diagnoses and repairs problems, and optimises PC speed and performance.

The Symantec Online Network for Advanced Response (SONAR) is also included in Norton 360. This gives behavior-based malware detection which identifies new threats in real-time based on application behaviour.

Norton 360 can also remove kernel mode rootkits through heuristics technology. Rootkits can allow hackers to access confidential data in a user’s computer. It features a smart firewall, intrusion prevention, vulnerability assessments and network detection.
