Australian phion brings their network security to UK

Founded in Australia in 2000 by three physicists, phion has already expanded into Germany, Switzerland, Cental Europe and Italy. Having gained trust in the financial and manufacturing sectors, it boast such customers as European Aeronautic Defense and Space (EADS) and the German Post Office. Last year phion was listed on the Vienna stock exchange.

Phion has a good chance of success in the UK with comments from established customers such as: “EADS needed a total solution that linked up all key security, connectivity and management functions. phion was the only provider in a position to provide this kind of sophisticated solution in the time available.” Jürgen Kahdemann, EADS – Military Aircraft.

Phion will be showing its extensive range of security products at the upcoming Infosecurity Europe 2008 on 22nd-24th April, in London. Their range of “netfence” products, which offer more protection than UTM, will be at the forefront of their offerings to the UK market. A UK reseller of their products will be announced within weeks.
