Kaspersky has announced the release of its Internet Security 2010 and Anti-Virus 2010 consumer products, which are now officially due in July of this year.

The new products are designed particularly to work with Windows Vista and offer benefits via a host-based intrusion protection technology which ranks malware so that future and current threats can be properly accessed.

Kaspersky announced that the software products will also have a safe run feature so that the user can test new software in an environment that is isolated from the rest of the computer, in order to protect the entire operating system.

In other words, the product has a quarantine room to try out new products before adding them to a computer system.

Additionally, a green border will be present around each application window so that the user knows they are protected.

Also improved, is the Security Network from Kaspersky to which users can opt-in, while Kaspersky internet Security 2010 collects information about software and ranks it, according to how safe it is, on black and white lists.

The solutions are aimed at giving home PC Users the same protection that a business computer would receive from an IT support team.
